Lovely resort, great service
Stayed here one week on family vacation - 3 adults, 2 teens and 1 preteen in a one Br suite and a two BR suite, both with kitchens. Beautiful building and grounds all well maintained. Costco had made reservation with our two rooms in opposite ends of the building but Reception was very accommodating and after our first night they moved my husband and I over to a nicer, higher category room to be close to our son and grandkids for no extra charge. Full size kitchens with frig, stove and dishwasher plus washer/dryer too. Everyone super nice from parking lot attendant to front desk to bartenders. Even though the beach isn’t much, the pools and everything else made up for it. Highly recommend staying here.
Very nice property

Stayed in a privately owned condo at this property. Garden pool was a highlight for our grandkids. Usual on site restaurant was worth eating at a couple of meals.Lots to explore in local area, but most shopping/dining need to drive to Lahaina.
Excellent pool for kids, average room, poor quality beds.

We just returned from 5 days here. The pool is our priority because we have two kids who LOVE to swim (7 & 11). The pool was fantastic, it was everything we wanted and measures up to the pictures. That part of the stay was wonderful and we spent a lot of time enjoying the pool. But the room was outdated and felt dingy although it was clean. The bathroom and bedroom are both dark and the bedroom is in the back of the unit. The kitchen was fine and great to have, although the dishwasher didn't get the dishes clean and we had to battle the sugar ants. The really disappointing part were the beds. We used the bedroom and the kids used the pull-out couch. The mattress in the bedroom was uncomfortable; you could feel the springs underneath you. Even worse, the pillows were hard, like trying to sleep with your head on a stack of books. We asked the front desk for softer pillows, and they sent more pillows, but they felt the same. The pull-out couch was almost unusable. No one expects a pull-out couch to be comfortable, but our kids didn't sleep much the first night because they were so uncomfortable. The middle sagged horribly and the springs felt like they were coming right through the fabric. We inquired at the front desk if they had any blow up mattresses and they did not, so they sent up some extra blankets that we put over the mattress on the pull-out, and it helped enough to get us through the week. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

We stayed at the Aston Kaanapali Shores February 3-11, 2020. We were very disappointed in the condo because besides being quite antiquated it wasn’t clean, the sliding doors didn’t work correctly (both glass and screens), the light bulbs were so dark we couldn’t even read, there was no vent fan in the bathroom and the faucets leaked so badly in the bathroom we had to keep a towel on the sink to keep our things from getting wet. Our dishwasher didn’t work and the maids wouldn’t wash anything by hand, the hallway was so dark you couldn’t see the dials on the washer/dryers and found ants on the counter in the kitchen. There was no TV guide and was told at the front desk they didn’t have any. One plus was the Beach House restaurant was very good and ate there several times. If you want a beach there is none and no pool-side service for drinks or food. Needless to say, we won’t be visiting this hotel/condo again and will make a wiser choice for our next visit to Maui.

We just stayed at this resort for 5 days. the picture in the room from their web site is not the same when we arrived. the mattress (very odl and dirty) is terrible and the carpet very dirty. their beach mostly rock. They really need to change the mattress and we have to ask them extra sheets to replace the blanket. The housekeeping department works very hard but the building is old so they can not change the fact we go to the front desk request change room, and mostly very much they are the same. Front desk mentioned that they are not hotel , they are agents to sell rooms only. This is not a hotel, and booked to the web site is through the agents, and if you lucky you may get some condo update or you will be stuck terrible and old room with whatever. Please note, do not trust their picture on the web site. total difference when you arrive
